B.Sc. in Completion Programme

Programme Length: 3 semesters

Credential Awarded: Bachelors of Science Degree

Programme Overview

The Bachelor of Science degree completion programme is designed for those students

who have previously completed an accredited associate degree and would like to acquire a

B.Sc. without starting from scratch. This programme allows you to transfer your credits

and complete an additional year to be awarded your first degree.

If your associate degree is valued less than ninety credits, your transcript will be assessed and you will be assigned bridging courses to gain the additional credits need.

You may also access this programme via mature entry. This option is available to

persons age 25 and over who have at least five years of hospitality industry experience.

You will be required to prepare a portfolio cataloging all your experiences and qualifications  throughout the years.

Our prior learning assessment document will guide you in collating this catalogue. Once your portfolio has been evaluated by a committee, you are assigned a degree mapping.

This document outlines the credits that have been awarded, challenge exams that have been assigned and traditional courses you will need to take to accumulate your associate degree level credits.

The WHI degree programme allows students the opportunity to experience other cultures through the cultural exchange programme that they participate in each summer in Canada. Students will have a chance to absorb several cultures while showcasing Jamaica to others.
